Thank you for your willingness to serve on an HRS committee! Your participation is vital to our mission, and we appreciate your commitment to our community. Please review the following information before selecting the committee(s) you are interested in. For any questions, please contact us at governance@HRSonline.org.

Important Information:

• Deadline: The call for volunteers closes at 11:59 pm ET on February 16, 2026.
• Committee Openings: Openings vary each year and are limited. 
• Selection Criteria: Appointments are based on the needs of the position, as well as member expertise, competencies, and skills.
• Equity and Diversity: Appointments are distributed as equitably and as diversely as possible.
• Multiple Committee Assignments: Members are not assigned to multiple committees unless a committee requires members in certain positions or with specific expertise. 
• Responsibilities and Expectations: These vary by committee. Begin the process to access all committee charges.
• Disclosure Requirements: Eligibility for a committee assignment requires a disclosure dated on or after December 1, 2025.
• Eligibility: Individuals must be eligible members to serve on a committee.
• Term Dates:
  • May 2026 - May 2027: Committees and councils are returning to terms coinciding with the annual meeting.
  • HRX Production Team terms will remain October 2025 - October 2026.
